Fatimah (a.) narrated that Gabriel (a.) said:„O Lord, who is under the cloak?”Whereupon God said: „The members of the house of prophethood and the place of the message. These are Fatimah, her father , her husband and her children (a.).” [Al-Asrar-ul-Fatimiyyah by Al-Mas’udi, Page 184]
جابر بن عبد الله عن فاطمة الزهراء عليها السلام عن جبرائيل عليه السلام قال: يا رب ومن تحت الكساء فقال عز وجل هم أهل بيت النبوة ومعدن الرسالة هم فاطمة وأبوها وبعلها وبنوها
Musa Ibn Abdillah narrated that Imam Al-Hadi (a.) said: „Peace be upon you, O members of the house of prophethood, the place of the message, place of the angels, abode of revelation, centerpiece of mercy, guardians of knowledge, endpoint of clemency, origin of goodness and chiefs of the nations […] and I testify that you are the leaders (Imam), who are, rightly guided, infallible, honored, close (to God), God-fearing, truthfull, chosen, obedient to God, adhering to his commands, executing his will and being successful through His generosity.” [Tahdhib-ul-Ahkam by At-Tusi, Volume 6, Page 96 – 97]
محمد بن إسماعيل عن موسى بن عبد الله عن الإمام الهادي عليه السلام قال: السلام عليكم يا أهل بيت النبوة، ومعدن الرسالة، ومختلف الملائكة، ومهبط الوحي، ومعدن الرحمة، وخزان العلم، ومنتهى الحلم، وأصول الكرم، وقادة الأمم [ … ] واشهد انكم الأئمة الراشدون المهديون المعصومون المكرمون المقربون المتقون الصادقون المصطفون المطيعون لله، القوامون بأمره، العاملون بإرادته، الفائزون بكرامته
Mu’awiyah Ibn Ammar narrated that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: „The family of Muhammad are my leaders (Imam). I have no leaders except them. I let them lead me, I stand near to them and I follow them.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar von Al-Majlisi, Band 83, Seite 295]
ابن أبي عمير عن معاوية بن عمار عن الإمام الصادق عليه السلام قال: آل محمد أئمتي ليس لي أئمة غيرهم بهم أئتم وإياهم أتولى وبهم أقتدي
Abu Amr Az-Zubaidi narrated that he asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): „What proof is there in God’s Scripture that the family of Muhammad are the people of his house (Ahlulbayt)?” He said: „The word of God, the Blessed and Exalted: «God chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham, the family of Imran and the family of Muhammad» (3:33) it was exactly revealed like this «over the worlds.» (3:33) «Descendants of one another and God is hearing and knowing.» (3:34) And the descendants of the people are none other than their offspring from their loins and He said: «Act out of gratitude, O family of Dawud and few of My servants are grateful and the family of Imran and the family of Muhammad.»” (34:13) [Tafsir-ul-Ayyashi by Al-Ayyashi, Volume 1, Page 170]
محمد بن مسعود عن أبي عمرو الزبيري عن الإمام الصادق عليه السلام قال: قلت له ما الحجة في كتاب الله ان آل محمد هم أهل بيته؟ قال: قول الله تبارك وتعالى ان الله اصطفى آدم ونوحا وآل إبراهيم وآل عمران وآل محمد هكذا نزلت على العالمين ذرية بعضها من بعض والله سميع عليم ولا يكون الذرية من القوم الا نسلهم من أصلابهم وقال: اعملوا آل داود شكرا وقليل من عبادي الشكور وآل عمران و آل محمد
Sa’d Ibn Malik narrated that Imam Ali (a.) said: „This nation has twelve rightly guiding leaders (Imam) from the descendants of their Prophet (s.) and they belong to me.” [Al-Kafi by Al-Kulaini, Volume 1, Page 341]
محمد بن يحيى، عن محمد بن الحسين، عن مسعدة بن زياد، عن أبي عبد الله ومحمد بن الحسين، عن إبراهيم، عن أبي يحيى المدائني، عن أبي هارون العبدي، عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: قال أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام: إن لهذه الأمة اثني عشر إمام هدى من ذرية نبيها وهم مني
Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.) reported that Fatimah (a. ) said: „So God made faith a purification for you from associating (Shirk), prayer a purification for you from arrogance, alms tax an atonement for the soul and an increase in provision, fasting a consolidation of sincerity, pilgrimage an edification of religion, righteousness a balancing of hearts, obedience to us an order for the community, and our leadership (imamah) a safety for the group.” [Al-Ihtijaj by At-Tabarsi, Volume. 1, Page 134]
عبد الله بن الحسن عن الحسن بن الحسن عن الحسن بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب صلى الله عليهم عن فاطمة الزهراء عليها السلام قالت: فجعل الله الإيمان تطهيرا لكم من الشرك والصلاة تنزيها لكم عن الكبر والزكاة تزكية للنفس ونماء في الرزق والصيام تثبيتا للاخلاص والحج تشييدا للدين والعدل تنسيقا للقلوب وطاعتنا نظاما للملة وإمامتنا أمانا للفرقة
Muhammad Ibn Babawaih narrated the supplication from the Imams (a.):„God, I beseech you and turn to you through your Prophet, the Prophet of Mercy, Muhammad, may God bless him and his family. O Abu l-Qasim, O Messenger of God, o leader (Imam) of mercy, O our chief and master, we turn to (you) and seek the intercession and mediation through you to God and present to you our needs. O you who is held in high esteem with God, intercede for us with God. O Abu l-Hasan, o Commander of the faithful, O Ali, son of Abu Talib, O God’s proof over His creation, O our chief and master, we turn to (you) and seek the intercession and mediation through you to God and present to you our needs. O you who is held in high esteem with God, intercede for us with God. O Fatimah Zahra’, O daughter of Muhammad, O joy of the messenger, O our chief and mistress, we turn to you and seek intercession and intermediary through you to God and present our needs to you. O who is esteemed by God, intercede for us before God […] O my chiefs and masters. I turn to God through you, my leaders (Imam) and my support for the day for my deficiency and need of God, and through you I seek mediation with God and intercession with God, so intercede for me with God and release me from the sins before God, for you are my means to God, and through love and nearness to you I hope to be deliverd from God, so be my hope before God, o my masters, o those close to God. God bless them all and curse the enemies of God who wrong them from the first and the last, Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.” [Mafatih-ul-Jinan by Al-Qumi, Page 137 – 138]
محمد بن بابويه عن الأئمة عليهم السلام في دعاء التوسل أنهم قالوا: اللهم إني أسألك وأتوجه إليك بنبيك نبي الرحمة محمد صلى الله عليه وآله يا أبا القاسم يا رسول الله يا إمام الرحمة، يا سيدنا ومولانا، إنا توجهنا واستشفعنا، وتوسلنا بك إلى الله، وقدمناك بين يدي حاجاتنا، يا وجيها عند الله اشفع لنا عند الله. يا أبا الحسن يا أمير المؤمنين، يا علي بن أبي طالب، يا حجة الله على خلقه يا سيدنا ومولانا، إنا توجهنا واستشفعنا، وتوسلنا بك إلى الله وقدمناك بين يدي حاجاتنا يا وجيها عند الله، اشفع لنا عند الله. يا فاطمة الزهراء يا بنت محمد يا قرة عين الرسول، يا سيدتنا ومولاتنا، إنا توجهنا واستشفعنا، وتوسلنا بك إلى الله، وقدمناك بين يدي حاجاتنا، يا وجيهة عند الله اشفعي لنا عند الله [ … ] يا سادتي وموالي إني توجهت بكم أئمتي وعدتي، ليوم فقري وحاجتي إلى الله، وتوسلت بكم إلى الله، واستشفعت بكم إلى الله، فاشفعوا لي عند الله، واستنقذوني من ذنوبي عند الله، فإنكم وسيلتي إلى الله، وبحبكم وبقربكم أرجو نجاة من الله، فكونوا عند الله رجائي، يا سادتي، يا أولياء الله، صلى الله عليهم أجمعين ولعن الله أعداء الله ظالميهم، من الأولين والآخرين، آمين رب العالمين
Jabir Ibn Abdillah narrated that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: „Let the sun lead you. When the sun goes down let the moon lead you. When the moon goes down let the venus lead you. When the venus goes down let the two phercades lead you.” Then they said: „O Messenger of God, what is the sun, what is the moon, what is the venus and what are the two phercades?” He said: „I am the sun, Ali is the moon, the venus is Fatimah and the two phercades are Hasan and Husain.” [Ma’ani l-Akhbar by As-Saduq, Page 114 – 115]
محمد بن منكدر عن جابر بن عبد الله عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: اقتدوا بالشمس فإذا غابت الشمس فاقتدوا بالقمر، فإذا غاب القمر فاقتدوا بالزهرة فإذا غابت الزهرة فاقتدوا بالفرقدين فقالوا: يا رسول الله فما الشمس؟ وما القمر؟ وما الزهرة؟ وما الفرقدان؟ فقال: أنا الشمس، و علي القمر، والزهرة فاطمة، والفرقدان الحسن والحسين
Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.) narrated that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said:„When I was made to go on the night journey to heaven, my lord revealed to me and said: ﴾I glanced at the earth and chose you from it. So I made you a prophet and split for you a name from My name. Therefore I am the Praised One and you are Muhammad. Then I took a second look and chose from it Ali and made him your trustee and successor and husband of your daughter and father of your offspring and I split for him a name from My name. Therefore I am the Most High and He is Ali and I created Fatimah, Hasan and Husain from your lights. Afterwards i offered their leadership to the angels.Whoever accepted them, he belongs to those who are close to Me. O Muhammad, would a servant serve Me until he is severed and becomes like torn leather, whereupon He comes to me, while denying their leadership, I do not let him enter My paradise and do not shield him under My throne. O Muhammad, do you like to see them?﴿ I said: ﴾Yes, o Lord.﴿ He said: ﴾Raise your head.﴿ Then I raised my head and saw the lights of Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, Husain, Ali, the son Husain, Muhammad, the son of Ali, Ja’far, the son of Muhammad, Musa, the son of Ja’far, Ali, the son of Musa, Muhammad, the son of Ali, Ali, the son of Muhammad, Hasan, the son of Ali and Muhammad, the son of Hasan, the riser (Qa’im) in their midst, as if he were a sparkling star. I said: ﴾O Lord, who are these?﴿ He said: ﴾These are the leaders (Imam) and this is the Riser (Qa’im) who allows what I allow and forbids what I forbid and through him I avenge Myself upon My enemies and he is a rest for those who are close to Me and he is the one who heals the hearts of your followers (Shi’ah) from the oppressors, deniers, and unbelievers. So he brings out Lat and Uzza fresh and then he burns both of them, because the temptation (Fitnah) of the people by these two is more severe on that day than the temptation of the Calf and Samiri.﴿” [Kamal-ud-Din by As-Saduq, Volume 1, Page 280 – 281]
محمد بن إبراهيم عن محمد بن همام عن أحمد بن مابنداذ عن أحمد بن هلال عن محمد بن أبي عمير عن المفضل بن عمر عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد عن أبيه عن آبائه عليهم السلام عن علي بن أبي طالب عليهما السلام عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: لما أسري بي إلى السماء أوحى إلي ربي جل جلاله فقال: يا محمد إني أطلعت على الأرض إطلاعة فاخترتك منها فجعلتك نبيا و شققت لك من اسمي اسما، فأنا المحمود وأنت محمد، ثم أطلعت الثانية فاخترت منها عليا وجعلته وصيك وخليفتك وزوج ابنتك وأبا ذريتك، وشققت له اسما من أسمائي، فأنا العلي الأعلى وهو علي، وخلقت فاطمة والحسن والحسين من نوركما، ثم عرضت ولايتهم على الملائكة، فمن قبلها كان عندي من المقربين، يا محمد لو أن عبدا عبدني حتى ينقطع ويصير كالشن البالي، ثم أتاني جاحدا لولايتهم فما أسكنته جنتي ولا أظللته تحت عرشي، يا محمد تحب أن تراهم؟ قلت: نعم يا رب فقال عز وجل: ارفع رأسك فرفعت رأسي وإذا أنا بأنوار علي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين، وعلي بن الحسين ومحمد بن علي، وجعفر بن محمد، وموسى بن جعفر، وعلي بن موسى، ومحمد بن علي وعلي بن محمد والحسن بن علي، ومحمد بن الحسن القائم في وسطهم كأنه كوكب دري قلت: يا رب ومن هؤلاء؟ قال: هؤلاء الأئمة وهذا القائم الذي يحلل حلالي ويحرم حرامي وبه أنتقم من أعدائي، وهو راحة لأوليائي، وهو الذي يشفي قلوب شيعتك من الظالمين والجاحدين والكافرين، فيخرج اللات والعزى طريين فيحرقهما، فلفتنة الناس يومئذ بهما أشد من فتنة العجل والسامري
Ahmad Ibn Muhammad narrated that Imam Al-Hadi (a.) said: „He who denied a leader (Imam) from God or added a leader whose leadership is not from God, is like the one who speaks: «God is the third of three.» (5:73) The denier of the matter of our last is the denier of the matter of our first and who adds to us someone is like the denier who takes someone away from our matter.” [Kashf-ul-Ghummah by Al-Irbili, Volume 3, Page 226]
سعيد بن هبة الله عن أحمد بن محمد عن الإمام الهادي عليه السلام قال: من جحد إماما من الله أو أزاد إماما ليست إمامته من الله كان كمن قال إن الله ثالث ثلاثة ان الجاحد أمر آخرنا جاحد أمر أولنا والزايد فينا كالناقص الجاحد أمرنا
Sulaim narrated that Salman said: „When I was sitting in the sessions of Quraish and they saw someone from the people of the house, they broke off their conversation. While they were sitting, one of them said: ﴾Muhammad is among the people of his house just like a palm that grows in the garbage.﴿ After this the Messenger of God (s.) heard about it and became angry. Then he got up and went to the pulpit. So he took place on it until the people came together. Then he praised God and said: ﴾O people, who am I?﴿ They said: ﴾You are the Messenger of God.﴿ He said: ﴾I am the Messenger of God and I am Muhammad, the son of Abdullah, the son of Abd-ul-Muttalib.﴿ He then continued with his ancestral line to Nizar. Then he said: ﴾Behold, I and the people of my house were a light that was cradling before God, a thousand years before God created Adam, and when that light uttered praise, the angels praised according to his praises. When He created Adam, He put that light into his loins. Then it was brought down to earth in the loins of Adam. Then He had it carried in the ark in the loin of Noah. Then he had it thrown into the fire in the loin of Abraham.Then He always made us walk in the noble loins until He brought us out of mines that have the most excellent origin and from plantations that have the most excellent plantation between the fathers and mothers. None of them ever met eachother in a obscene manner. Behold, we children of Abd-ul-Muttalib are the masters of the inhabitants of paradise: I, Ali, Ja’far, Hamzah, Hasan, Husain, Fatimah and the guided one (Mahdi). See, God glanced at the inhabitants of the earth and chose two people from them. I am one of the two. So He sent me as messenger and prophet and the other is Ali, the son of Abu Talib and He revealed me to take him as brother, confidant, assistant, trustee and successor. Behold, he is after me the close one of every believer. Whoever was close to him was close to God and whoever hostiled him hostiled God. No one loves him except a believer and no one hates him except an unbeliever. He is after me the fortification of the earth and its rest and he is God’s Word of the fear of God and His firm grip. They want to extinguish God’s light with their mouths, but God will complete His light, even if the unbelievers hate it. Behold, God casted a second glance, after which He chose after us twelve trustees from among the people of my house and made them the best of my nation, one after the other, like the stars in the sky. Every time a star goes down, another star goes up. They are rightly guiding leaders (Imam) who are rightly guided. They are not harmed either by the plot of those who forge a plot against them, nor by those who abandoned them. They are God’s evidence on His earth, His witnesses of His creation, the guardians of His knowledge, the translators of His revelation and the mines of His wisdom. Who obeyed them, obeyed God and who disobeyed them disobeyed God. They are with the Qur’an and the Qur’an is with them. They do not separate from it until they reach me at the ponder (Hawd). The present should tell the absent about it. God, be a witness, God, be a witness.﴿ Three times.” [Kitab Sulaim by Al-Hilali, Page 379 – 380]
أبان عن سليم عن سلمان قال: كانت قريش إذا جلست في مجالسها فرأت رجلا من أهل البيت قطعت حديثها فبينما هي جالسة إذ قال رجل منهم: ما مثل محمد في أهل بيته إلا كمثل نخلة نبتت في كناسة فبلغ ذلك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله فغضب ثم خرج فأتى المنبر فجلس عليه حتى اجتمع الناس، ثم قام فحمد الله وأثنى عليه، ثم قال: أيها الناس من أنا؟ قالوا: أنت رسول الله قال: أنا رسول الله وأنا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد المطلب بن هاشم ثم مضى في نسبه حتى انتهى إلى نزار ثم قال ألا وإني وأهل بيتي كنا نورا نسعى بين يدي الله قبل أن يخلق الله آدم بألفي عام، وكان ذلك النور إذا سبح سبحت الملائكة لتسبيحه. فلما خلق آدم وضع ذلك النور في صلبه ثم أهبط إلى الأرض في صلب آدم. ثم حمله في السفينة في صلب نوح ثم قذفه في النار في صلب إبراهيم ثم لم يزل ينقلنا في أكارم الأصلاب حتى أخرجنا من أفضل المعادن محتدا وأكرم المغارس منبتا بين الآباء والأمهات لم يلتق أحد منهم على سفاح قط ألا ونحن بنو عبد المطلب سادة أهل الجنة أنا وعلي وجعفر وحمزة والحسن والحسين وفاطمة والمهدي ألا وإن الله نظر إلى أهل الأرض نظرة فاختار منهم رجلين: أحدهما أنا فبعثني رسولا ونبيا والآخر علي بن أبي طالب، وأوحى إلي أن أتخذه أخا وخليلا ووزيرا ووصيا وخليفة ألا وإنه ولي كل مؤمن بعدي من والاه والاه الله ومن عاداه عاداه الله لا يحبه إلا مؤمن ولا يبغضه إلا كافر هو زر الأرض بعدي وسكنها وهو كلمة الله التقوى وعروته الوثقى يريدون أن يطفؤوا نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون ألا وإن الله نظر نظرة ثانية فاختار بعدنا اثني عشر وصيا من أهل بيتي فجعلهم خيار أمتي واحدا بعد واحد مثل النجوم في السماء كلما غاب نجم طلع نجم هم أئمة هداة
Anas Ibn Malik narrated that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said:„When I was lifted up to heaven, Gabriel (a.) took a farewell from me and I said: ﴾O Gabriel, my dear, do you leave me at such place?﴿ He said: ﴾I am not going over this place or else my wings would burn.﴿ Then he threw me into the light as God willed. Then God revealed to me: ﴾O Muhammad, I took a look at the earth and chose you from it and made you a prophet. Then I took a second look and chose from it Ali. So I made him your trustee and the heir of your knowledge and the leader (Imam) after you and I let forth from your loins the pure offspring and the infallible leaders (Imam) who guard my knowledge. If they were not, then I would not have created this world, nor the hereafter, nor paradise, nor the fire. O Muhammad, do you like to see them?﴿ I said: ﴾Yes, o Lord.﴿ Then I was called: ﴾Raise your head.﴿ Then I raised my head and saw the lights of Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, Husain, Ali, the son of Husain, Muhammad, the son of Ali, Ja’far, the son of Muhammad, Musa, the son of Ja’far, Ali, the son of Musa, Muhammad, the son of Ali, Ali, the son of Muhammad, Hasan, the son of Ali and the Proof (Hujjah) that shone between them as if he were a sparkling star. I said: ﴾O Lord, who are these and who is this?﴿ Then I was called: ﴾O Muhammad, these are the pure leaders (Imam) after you from your descendants and this is the Proof that fills the earth with justice and heals the hearts of believers.﴿” [Al-Jawahir-us-Sunniyyah by Al-Hurr Al-Amili, Page 279]
محمد بن علي عن علي بن الحسين عن هارون بن موسى عن محمد بن همام عن عامر ابن كثير عن الحسن بن محمد عن مسكين بن بكير عن شعبة بن الحجاج عن هشام بن زيد عن أنس بن مالك وعن هارون بن موسى عن حيدر بن محمد عن محمد بن مسعود عن يوسف بن سخت عن منجاب بن الحرث عن محمد بن يسار عن محمد بن جعفر غيدر عن هشام بن زيد عن أنس بن مالك عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: لما عرج بي إلى السماء ودعني جبرئيل، فقلت: حبيبي جبرئيل أفي مثل هذا المقام تفارقني؟ فقال: يا محمد اني لا أجوز هذا الموضع فتحترق أجنحتي، ثم زج بي في النور ما شاء الله، فأوحى الله إلي: يا محمد اني اطلعت إلى الأرض اطلاعة فاخترتك منها وجعلتك نبيا، ثم اطلعت ثانيا فاخترت منها عليا فجعلته وصيك ووارث علمك والامام بعدك وأخرج من أصلابكما الذرية الطاهرة والأئمة المعصومين خزان علمي، فلولاكم لما خلقت الدنيا ولا الآخرة ولا الجنة ولا النار، يا محمد تحب ان تراهم؟ قلت: نعم يا رب. فنوديت: يا محمد ارفع رأسك، فرفعت رأسي فإذا أنوار علي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين وعلي بن الحسين ومحمد بن علي وجعفر بن محمد وموسى بن جعفر وعلي بن موسى ومحمد بن علي وعلي بن محمد والحسن ابن علي والحجة يتلألأ بينهم كأنه كوكب دري، فقلت: يا رب من هؤلاء ومن هذا؟ فنوديت يا محمد هم الأئمة بعدك المطهرون من صلبك، وهذا الحجة الذي يملأ الأرض قسطا وعدلا ويشفي صدور قوم مؤمنين
Sa’d Ibn Malik narrated that Imam Ali (a.) said: „This nation has twelve rightly guiding leaders (Imam) from the descendants of their Prophet (s.) and they belong to me and as for the degree of our Prophet (s.) in Paradise, it is at its most exalted and its most honored is the Garden of Eden and as for him who is with him on his degree, they are these twelve from his descendants and theirs mother and grandmother and mother of her mother and their descendants. No one is their partner in it.” [I’lam-ul-Wara by At-Tabarsi, Volume 2, Page 168]
وعنه, عن محمد بن يحيى, عن محمد بن الحسين, عن مسعدة بن زياد, عن أبي عبد الله ومحمد بن الحسين, عن إبراهيم بن أبي يحيى المديني, عن أبي هارون العبدي, عن أبي سعيد الخدري عن أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام قال: إن لهذه الأمة اثني عشر إماما من ذرية نبيها وهم مني, وأما منزل نبينا في الجنة ففي أفضلها وأشرفها جنة عدن, وأما من معه في منزله فهؤلاء الاثنا عشر من ذريته وأمهم وجدتهم وأم أمهم وذراريهم لا يشركهم فيها أحد
